What we offer

At the Horseshoes Riding and Training Centre we offer all the family the opportunity to ride and train on a variety of ponies and horses under qualified and experienced instruction. We cater from from complete beginners to advanced competition riders and pride ourselves upon welcoming riders of all ages. We provide a range of lessons and courses tailor made for every individual.

Pony Club

The Pony Club is the starting point for any young person who wants to learn to ride and care for horses.

  • Membership is open to anyone up to the age of 25, from beginners to those with a little more experience

  • Complete range of Pony Club Tests and Achievement Badges.

  • Riding and Social time with friends

  • Weekly sessions and holiday activities

Young Equestrians
What does it involve?

Young Equestrians at The Horseshoes Riding School involves a group of like minded young adults meeting for sessions on a regular basis. As a group you will be able to be part of deciding what you want to achieve. We want you to be involved in the planning for events and achieving personal goals.

Why join the Young Equestrian Club?
Are you between the ages 13-18 years and want to achieve more out of your riding?

Adult Riding Club
  • Whether you’re new to riding or you are rediscovering your love of horses, it’s never too late to start

  • The Riding Club is suitable for ages 25+ years

  • Meet new people who share a love of riding

  • We host a whole range of activities for members including fun rides, training days and social events

Horse riding is not only great for physical fitness it can also help
your mental being and relieve stress.

Own a pony
  • Spend time with your favourite pony, whether it’s a couple of hours, a day or even a whole week!

  • Gain an insight into the individual personalities of the ponies.

  • Learn a variety of skills

  • Suitable for ages 6years and above

  • Build new friendships through fun activities and the shared love of ponies

  • Held during every holiday throughout the year
